As the investment model below illustrates, we participate in the funding of businesses in four phases: - value proposition acceptance (funding to take the value proposition to market);
- business model scalability (funding to grow the company);
- liquidity event viability (funding to a point of being cash flow positive and/or execution of an intial public offering or sale of a business); and
- restarts or
distressed companies with seasoned, proven management teams
(outside Koch's core businesses but match its proven capabilities)
